The Marshall Lane PTA recognizes the exceptional volunteerism of our parents in their fundraising efforts. We also acknowledge their desire to raise funds in as efficient and effective manner as possible; less fundraising, more time with our children. For this reason our primary fundraiser of 2010-11 will be an Annual Giving Campaign.
Annual Giving provides additional benefits. It has almost no overhead; virtually all the monies paid go directly to supporting programs to enrich our children's education. What is more, 100% of your contribution is tax deductible and in many companies is eligible for matching funds.
If we received the recommended donation of $250 for every child in school, we would be able to cover the majority of our budget. Even $80.00 per child covers our Student Programs including music and art. Another $80.00 would cover computer technology, library, and campus wide supplies and equipment.
At whatever financial and volunteering levels you choose, affirm your support of our teachers and children in their educational goals and demonstrate to your children the value of education and community. Participation by 100% of our families shows a a commitment by 100% of our families to education.
