Art Connections
Art Connections is a standards based visual art program created in 1999 by a task force of teachers, parents and art specialists in the Campbell Union School District.

GATE - Gifted and Talented Enrichment
Each year, our 2nd grade students, as well as new incoming 4th and 5th graders, are evaluated for our Gifted And Talented Education (GATE) program.

Jump Start Reading
Jumpstart Reading is a reading intervention program. Trained parent volunteers provide struggling first and second grade readers with quality, one-on-one reading assistance to “get them over the hump.”

Literacy and Physical Education
The PTA funds a Physical Education instructor at Marshall Lane for all students in grades K-5.

A unique evening of exploring technology through fun, hands-on activities. Students with their parents rotate through different technology stations.

Each spring, our 5th grade students proudly display their Science Fair Projects in the school cafeteria.

Technology
The Marshall Lane PTA supports technology use and development at the school by granting funding to the Technology Committee based on the updated Technology Plan submitted each year to the PTA.

Family Picnic
Each year Marshall Lane kicks off the school year with a Welcome Back Family Picnic that takes place in mid-September.

Graduation - 5th Grade
The PTA hosts a small reception after the 5th grade graduation ceremony.

Library Book Dedications
The Marshall Lane Library Book Dedication program enables anyone in the Marshall Lane school community to donate a book to the Knowledge Center, and to honor special people.

Play Day is a great annual tradition at Marshall Lane with lots of water-play activities for our K-3rd grade students.

Swim Party - 4th Grade
Our 4th grade students celebrate the end of the school year with an annual swim party held at the Campbell Community Center.

Assemblies
Each year a portion of the PTA funds raised by our school community support our Educational Assembly Programs. Scientists, historians, artists, musicians, storytellers and a variety of entertainers visit our school to enrich our academic program.

Our objective is to educate students and their families about environmentally sustainable practices while implementing actual "green" projects on campus. We will focus on the four R's: reduce, reuse, recycle and restore.

A countywide initiative that began a few years ago aimed at supporting the healthy development of all children and youth.

Yearbook
We are one of a very few elementary schools to have a yearbook. The yearbook is designed and produced by our fifth-grade students, and facilitated by parent volunteers.

Classroom Accounts
In addition to funding School Office Supplies, the PTA also provides teachers with funds for classroom supplies.

Emergency Supplies
Each classroom at Marshall Lane Elementary is provided with an emergency kit.

Knowledge Center Support
Our school library and computer lab is housed in our Knowledge Center. Marshall Lane’s library contains many books and reference materials, including a special section of donated materials on parenting. Also, the library's online catalog is accessible via the Internet.

PE Equipment
The PTA values the importance of Physical Education by providing funds to replace damaged PE Equipment every year when the members vote to do so.
